Common and Serious Adverse Reactions

The most commonly reported side effects in adults and children receiving Cerezyme include back pain, dizziness, headache, nausea, fever, and chills. Infusion-related hypersensitivity reactions, including flushing, urticaria, angioedema, and tachycardia, have been reported. Severe reactions, such as anaphylaxis, hypotension, and cyanosis, may require immediate discontinuation of the infusion. Musculoskeletal symptoms, including bone pain, have also been noted in some patients. Clinical trials and post-marketing reports suggest that approximately 15% of patients develop IgG antibodies to imiglucerase, which may increase the risk of hypersensitivity reactions
