QLOSI is a sterile, slightly viscous ophthalmic solution with a strength of 0.4% pilocarpine hydrochloride (equivalent to 4 mg/mL). It is supplied in single-patient-use vials and functions as a cholinergic agonist targeting muscarinic receptors to improve near vision. Manufactured by Orasis Pharmaceuticals, it is stored refrigerated and discarded after each use.
QLOSI is indicated for the treatment of presbyopia in adult patients.
Instill one drop in each eye. A second drop may be administered after 2–3 hours for extended effect (up to 8 hours). May be used daily or as needed, up to twice daily. If using other topical ophthalmic agents, allow at least 5 minutes between applications. Discard vial after single use.
