Lazertinib is an oral kinase inhibitor for combined use with Amivantamab, offering a novel treatment option for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring specific epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations.

Where to Purchase Lazertinib

Overseas Purchase

(1) Patients may opt to consult and purchase Lazertinib at hospital pharmacies or licensed pharmacies in countries/regions where the drug has been marketed.(2) As drug prices may be affected by regional differences, exchange rate fluctuations and other factors, patients need to make a budget and plan in advance before purchase.

Purchase via Medical Service Institutions

(1) Patients may consult domestic overseas medical service institutions that cooperate with international pharmacies or pharmaceutical enterprises.(2) Such institutions can usually provide legal import channels, along with professional consultation and guidance services.

Important Precautions for the Purchase and Administration of Lazertinib

Dosage and Administration

(1) The drug must be administered strictly in accordance with the dosage prescribed by the physician.

(2) The recommended dosage is 240 mg orally once daily, which may be taken with or without food.(3) Tablets should be swallowed whole; do not crush, split or chew the tablets.

Combination Therapy

(1) Lazertinib must be administered in combination with Amivantamab.

(2) If administered on the same day, Lazertinib may be taken at any time prior to the infusion of Amivantamab.

(3) It is imperative to understand and follow the complete dosing regimens for both drugs.

Management of Missed Doses and Vomiting

(1) If a dose is missed, take the missed dose as soon as possible within 12 hours of the scheduled time.(2) If more than 12 hours have elapsed, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regularly scheduled time.(3) If vomiting occurs after taking the drug, do not take an additional dose; the next dose should be taken at the scheduled time.

Management of Cutaneous Reactions

(1) Skin rash is a common adverse reaction associated with this combination regimen.(2) To reduce the incidence and severity of skin rash, physicians will recommend prophylactic oral antibiotics (e.g., doxycycline or minocycline) for 12 weeks starting on Day 1 of treatment.(3) Subsequently, antibiotic lotion should be applied to the scalp for 9 months. Non-comedogenic moisturizing cream should be used on the face and the entire body (excluding the scalp).(4) Wash hands and feet with 4% chlorhexidine solution daily. Sun protection measures should be strictly followed during treatment and for 2 months after the end of treatment.

How to Authenticate Lazertinib

Verify the External Packaging and Labeling of the Drug

(1) Approval Number and Labeling: Check whether the drug name, manufacturer and approval number printed on the drug carton are clear and standardized.(2) Anti-counterfeiting Features: Check for official anti-counterfeiting labels, laser marks or anti-counterfeiting codes. The packaging of genuine drugs features high-quality printing with clear fonts and distinct colors.

Verify the Physical Characteristics of the Tablets

(1) Dosage Strength and Appearance: Lazertinib is available in two dosage strengths. The 80 mg tablet is a yellow, oval, film-coated tablet, debossed with "LZ" on one side and "80" on the other side.(2) The 240 mg tablet is a reddish-purple, oval, film-coated tablet, debossed with "LZ" on one side and "240" on the other side.(3) Please check and confirm that the color, shape and debossed markings of the tablets are fully consistent with the official specifications (attached information), with no blurring, abrasion or abnormalities.
