Xofluza (Baloxavir Marboxil) is a novel anti-influenza virus drug. With its unique single-dose administration regimen and targeted mechanism of action, it provides an innovative option for influenza prevention and control.

What Are the Indications for Xofluza (Baloxavir Marboxil)?

Primary Indications

Therapeutically, it is indicated for infectious diseases caused by influenza A or B viruses.

Indications vary across different drug specifications.

The 20mg tablets and 2% granules are not only used for influenza treatment but also for post-exposure prophylaxis.

The 10mg tablets are only approved for therapeutic purposes and do not have preventive effects.

This drug is ineffective against bacterial infections. If a patient has concurrent bacterial infection or confused symptoms, additional antibacterial treatment is required.
