Dosage Guidance

For adults, the initial dose is 0.5 mg administered four times daily or 1 mg twice daily. The starting dose for pediatric patients (aged 7 years and older) is 0.5 mg once daily. This starting dose must be maintained for at least one week before any titration. Subsequent dose adjustments are based on platelet count response, aiming for a target below 600,000/µL. The weekly dose increase must not exceed 0.5 mg per day. The maximum single dose is 2.5 mg, and the maximum total daily dose is 10 mg. Frequent monitoring of platelet counts is essential.
