MYFEMBREE is a medication used to manage conditions such as heavy menstrual bleeding caused by uterine fibroids and moderate to severe pain associated with endometriosis in premenopausal women. It combines three active ingredients: relugolix, a GnRH receptor antagonist; estradiol, an estrogen; and norethindrone acetate, a progestin.
The medication is available as a fixed-dose combination tablet, and it is crucial to follow the prescribed dosage and administration instructions, including excluding pregnancy before starting treatment. One tablet orally once daily at approximately the same time, with or without food;Start as early as possible after the onset of menses but no later than seven days after menses has started;Recommended total duration of treatment is 24 months.
