HEMADY (dexamethasone tablets) is a glucocorticoid approved for use alongside other anti-myeloma agents. It functions as an anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressant.
The tablet is available in a 20 mg strength and should be stored at room temperature. It is manufactured by Dexcel Pharma Technologies and distributed by Edenbridge Pharmaceuticals.
HEMADY is indicated in combination with other anti-myeloma products for the treatment of adults with multiple myeloma.
The recommended dosage is 20 mg or 40 mg orally once daily, on specific days according to the treatment regimen. Dose reduction is advised for elderly patients due to increased risk of toxicity. Tablets may be taken with or without food.
