Postmenopausal women with hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer may also use it to reduce estrogen levels. In gynecology, it treats endometriosis and uterine fibroids by inducing a temporary menopause-like state, alleviating symptoms like pain and heavy bleeding. Additionally, it may be used in fertility treatments for pituitary downregulation.
