Who can use Cerdelga(Elglustat)?

Approved Use

CERDELGA is indicated for the long-term treatment of adult patients with Gaucher disease type 1. It is approved for use only in those identified as CYP2D6 extensive metabolizers (EMs), intermediate metabolizers (IMs), or poor metabolizers (PMs). It is not recommended for patients who are ultra-rapid metabolizers (URMs) or those with an indeterminate metabolizer status, as the efficacy and appropriate dosage cannot be assured in these groups.
