Who can use Vesanoid(Tretinoin)?

This section describes the approved use of VESANOID.

Therapeutic Indication

 VESANOID is approved for the induction of remission in adult and pediatric patients (one year and older) with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) characterized by the presence of the t(15;17) translocation or PML/RARα gene expression. Its use is specifically for patients who are refractory to, have relapsed after anthracycline chemotherapy, or for whom anthracycline-based therapy is contraindicated.
