Who can use Vocabria(Cabotegravir)?

VOCABRIA is indicated for HIV-1 treatment in combination with EDURANT and for PrEP in at-risk individuals.

Indications and Usage

VOCABRIA is approved for two primary uses. For HIV-1 treatment, it is used in combination with EDURANT (rilpivirine) in virologically suppressed adults and adolescents (aged 12+ years, weighing ≥35 kg) with no history of treatment failure. For HIV-1 PrEP, it is indicated in individuals at risk of sexually acquired HIV-1 infection, following a confirmed negative HIV-1 test. It also serves as an oral lead-in before injectable therapy or as a temporary replacement for missed injections of CABENUVA (treatment) or APRETUDE (PrEP).
