Clinical Outcomes

In clinical studies, Elitek demonstrated rapid and effective reduction of plasma uric acid levels. In a randomized pediatric trial, the uric acid AUC0-96hr was significantly lower in the Elitek group compared to allopurinol. Over 90% of pediatric and adult patients maintained uric acid levels below 7.5 mg/dL. In a adult study, the response rate (uric acid ≤7.5 mg/dL from day 3-7) was 87% for Elitek monotherapy versus 66% for allopurinol monotherapy.
