Duvyzat (givinostat) is an oral suspension taken twice daily with food . The dosage is weight-based (e.g., 2.5–6 mL twice daily for different weight ranges) and administered using the provided graduated oral syringe.

How should I use this medicine?

Shake the bottle for at least 30 seconds before each use to ensure homogeneity . Prior to treatment, baseline platelet counts and triglycerides must be tested, and therapy should not start if platelets are <150 x 10⁹/L . Adjustments may be needed for side effects like thrombocytopenia, diarrhea, or QTc prolongation . Avoid missed doses; do not double up. 

Discontinue unused medication after 60 days of opening . Patients with cardiac conditions or taking CYP3A4/OCT2 substrates should be monitored closely . Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions and report adverse reactions promptly.
