How should I use NEXIUM(Esomeprazole)?

For patients with severe hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh C), the maximum recommended daily dose is 20 mg once daily, with a starting dose of 20 mg twice daily.

Most patients heal within 4–8 weeks; non-healers may need an additional 4–8 weeks of treatment. For dosage adjustments in elderly patients or those with renal impairment, refer to the prescribing information for amoxicillin and clarithromycin.
