Recommended Use

The standard dosage for ZETIA is a single 10 mg tablet taken orally once daily, which can be administered with or without food. If a dose is missed, it should be taken as soon as remembered, but doubling the next dose is not recommended. A critical administration instruction is to take ZETIA at least 2 hours before or 4 hours after a bile acid sequestrant to prevent reduced absorption. Healthcare providers are advised to assess the patient's LDL-C response as early as 4 weeks after initiating therapy.
