Warnings and Precautions

The drug carries a boxed warning for severe hypersensitivity reactions, infusion-associated reactions (IARs), and the risk of acute cardiorespiratory failure in susceptible patients. Appropriate medical support and monitoring are mandatory during infusion. Premedication with antihistamines, antipyretics, and/or corticosteroids should be considered. Patients with compromised cardiac or respiratory function require vigilant monitoring due to the risk of fluid volume overload.
