Important Safety Considerations

VESANOID is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to retinoids. It carries boxed warnings for embryo-fetal toxicity and Differentiation Syndrome, requiring stringent pregnancy prevention measures in patients of reproductive potential. Concomitant use with strong CYP3A modulators, vitamin A, antifibrinolytic agents, or drugs that increase intracranial pressure should be avoided.
