Important Safety Information

Therapy initiation may cause a worsening of neurological symptoms due to copper mobilization. Regular monitoring of serum non-ceruloplasmin copper (NCC) and 24-hour urinary copper excretion (UCE) is essential to guide dosing and avoid iatrogenic copper deficiency. Iron deficiency may also develop, necessitating monitoring and managed supplementation. Hypersensitivity reactions, such as rash, have been reported and may require discontinuation. Concomitant use with mineral supplements or other oral medications must be carefully timed to avoid significant reductions in CUVRIOR's absorption and efficacy.
