Warnings and Contraindications

VOSEVI is contraindicated with rifampin. Significant warnings include the risk of HBV reactivation; testing for current or prior HBV infection is required before initiation. It also carries a risk of hepatic decompensation or failure in patients with evidence of advanced liver disease. Serious symptomatic bradycardia may occur if coadministered with amiodarone; coadministration is not recommended. Concomitant use with P-gp inducers or moderate to strong CYP inducers may reduce therapeutic effect and is not recommended.
