Dosing Regimen

For Parkinson's disease, dosing is initiated at 0.125 mg taken three times daily, with a gradual escalation no more frequently than every 5-7 days, up to a maximum of 1.5 mg three times daily, tailored to individual response and tolerability. For Restless Legs Syndrome, the starting dose is 0.125 mg once daily, 2-3 hours before bedtime, which can be increased incrementally every 4-7 days if needed. Dosage must be adjusted for patients with renal impairment.
