How well does Bylvay(Odevixibat) work?

Clinical Outcomes

In a 24-week PFIC trial, patients treated with BYLVAY showed a significantly higher percentage of observer-reported assessments with no or mild scratching compared to placebo. A separate 24-week ALGS trial demonstrated a significantly greater reduction from baseline in the average scratching score for the BYLVAY group versus the placebo group. The reduction in pruritus was supported by a corresponding decrease in serum bile acid concentrations observed in these clinical studies.
