Who can use Bylvay(Odevixibat)?

This medication is indicated for treating pruritus associated with specific rare cholestatic liver disorders in pediatric patients.

Approved Uses

BYLVAY is approved for the treatment of pruritus in patients 3 months of age and older with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis (PFIC). It is also indicated for the treatment of cholestatic pruritus in patients 12 months of age and older with Alagille syndrome (ALGS). A limitation of use exists for a subgroup of PFIC type 2 patients whose specific genetic variants result in a non-functional or completely absent bile salt export pump protein, where efficacy may be reduced.
